Loudness is measured to ITU-R BS.1770: K-weighted mean square over 400 ms blocks, with the absolute −70 LUFS gate and the relative −10 LU gate applied. The quieter file wins the match, so the louder one is turned down and no limiter colouring is introduced. Everything runs locally and offline.
